Meeting for an oral history is similar to sitting down to have a conversation. We are interested in hearing what you have to say and talking about the experiences you feel comfortable sharing. These conversations take about one hour and can be in Vietnamese or English. We are flexible to work around your schedule and can meet at Watzek Library, at a quiet location most convenient for you, or virtually. Please consider scheduling an appointment. We would love to hear from you.

In addition to collecting oral histories, we are also interested in aiding local Vietnamese, Vietnamese American, and AAPI institutions in the preservation of their records. If your institution or organization is interested in getting help with preservation or donating your records, please reach out to us and we will be happy to help and put you in touch with other community-based organizations that can also assist.
